Given the current concern and circumstances related to COVID-19, Neubauer Mental Health Services would like to communicate that our clinic will remain open for standard office visits by appointment only. Alternatively, Neubauer Mental Health Services clinicians are able to provide services via teletherapy. These service are offered to both existing patients as well as we are  continuing to accept new patients. Our commitment to the continuity of care of our patients as well as providing support to any person, couple, and/or family in need of outpatient behavioral health services remains our utmost priority. Neubauer Mental Health Services is an outpatient mental health practice comprised of a collection of experienced clinicians with various fields of specialization across age populations.

The goal of our practice is to provide client centered research based treatment along with comprehensive case management in order to promote our client's overall psychological, emotional, and/or behavioral health need. Our application is comprised of a multi-modal service delivery model that utilizes various methods to best meet the needs of each individual client.

Nicholas L. Neubauer, LCSW, ACS, NMHS Clinical Director:

Nicholas L. Neubauer, LCSW, ACS is a native Las Vegas, Nevadan. As a life-long Las Vegan, a husband, father, professional/business owner, member of several community organizations, advocate, and Priest serving The Episcopal Church. Nicholas cares deeply about and is heavily involved in the community and that of its collective residents. Outside of his professional role(s), Nicholas is husband to his wife, Brooke, and father to four children, daughter's Ava and Olivia and son's Jaxon and Nevada. When not spending time with family or serving at his professional capacity, Nicholas actively engages his passion for continuing education as well as community service.

Nicholas has been providing clinical services to the Nevada community for over 14 years. For most of that time, Nicholas worked within the community and his agency to establish one of the largest private outpatient behavioral healthcare organizations in Nevada with offices in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, and rural Nevada. Nicholas has served as the Clinical Director/Supervisor for multiple outpatient/inpatient behavioral healthcare organizations. Within those roles, Nicholas has worked cooperatively with various social service agencies, government systems, private entities, and professionals of various capacities to ensure quality and accessible mental/behavioral healthcare across populations and presenting concerns. Along with private practice and direct patient care, Nicholas has provided professional services as Clinical Director for multiple outpatient behavioral/mental healthcare providers, Acute Psychiatric Clinical Supervisor, Clinical-Intern Supervisor for The State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers, Program Developer, Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare Consultant, Program Developer/ Facilitator for detention-based treatment, Agency Field Instructor for numerous universities/colleges, College Instructor, and Continuing Education Developer/Instructor among other related roles within his scope. Nicholas also provides services such as Forensic Evaluations, Behavioral Support Consultation, Assessments/Evaluations, while working at various capacities as a Consultant.

Nicholas is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work (Clinical). He practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the States of Nevada and Utah. Beyond the above clinical practice and other related professional experience(s), Nicholas is a Board Certified Sexologist, The American College of Sexologists, Member, Academy of Certified Social Workers, National Association of Social Workers, Clinical Member, Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, Approved Provider for Behavioral Consultation and Counseling, State of Nevada, and has earned several other certifications and engaged in various forms of continuing education and training specific to evaluation/assessment as well as various treatment modalities including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma, Sex Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Insight Supportive, Client-Centered, Cognitive Therapy, and, Trauma, and Brief-Solutions Focused. Nicholas too holds various contracts with the State of Nevada and other public jurisdictions in which he provides treatment and evaluation for various populations.

Neubauer Mental Health Services is an expression of Nicholas’ passion and commitment to direct patient care through the compassionate application of research supported treatment models and clinical experience in order to support his clients in achieving their identified objectives as they work towards further self-actualization. His goal is to provide client-centered and research-based treatment along with comprehensive case management with a unique focus on patient/clinician relational development while reinforcing confidentiality, integrity, and client dignity in a non-judgmental environment in order to promote his client's overall psychological, emotional, and/or behavioral health needs. Nicholas’ clinical application is comprised of a multi-modal service delivery model that utilizes various methods to best meet the needs of each individual client served.
